Al & Connie live in Fresno, California.

• Connie has worked in the medical field at the Central California Blood Center for over twenty years as a medical technologist, laboratory manager, and quality assurance director. She is a Specialist in Blood Banking and has recently obtained a masters degree in Public Health from (CSUF) California State University Fresno.
  
  
• Al has worked with computers both large and small for over twenty years as a programmer and analyst. He has also sold custom-built IBM compatible computers through his company Pica Computers. Now he is retired but still continues to set up and maintains web sites. He is a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus; a Catholic men's' charitable organization. • Al enjoys fishing, camping and hiking along with a renewed interest in the model railroading hobby. As a youngster, he rode the train across the United States from California to New England three times. That sparked his interest in trains and he started collecting them. During the years, on and off, he has worked on the hobby as a soloist, not having any friends who pursued the same hobby. That is, until a couple of years ago when he happened upon the train layout of the Fresno Model Railroad Club. He joined the club and now has many friends in the hobby. We proudly announce Our Grandson: David James Shinn was born at 7:56pm on 06-18-2002 at Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, California. He weighed 9 pounds, 11 ounces at birth and was 21½ inches tall. Both David and his mother Cecilia are doing just fine. His father Timothy is proud as can be and by the way he still owes me a cigar.	We proudly announce Our Granddaughter: Julia Rose Shinn was born at 10:53am on 03-10-2006 at Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, California. She weighted 8 pounds, 0 ounces at birth and was 19 inches tall. Julia and her mother Cecilia are doing just fine. Her father Timothy is still just as proud a papa as he was when David was born 3+ years ago. David loves his little sister and has adapted well to the new addition to the family.

We proudly announce Our Grandson: Caleb Louis Parker was born at 12:44pm on 11-15-2006 at Clovis Community Hospital in Clovis, California. He weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces at birth and was 20½ inches tall. Caleb and Diana are doing just fine. His father M'so is as proud and happy as can be. It's only a few days since Caleb was born. He's home now and with Thanksgiving next week, he will meet most of his kin folks soon as they come to celebrate the holiday with us.
